Seke comes from a dance background, and Kate is an Action Theater™ and Feldenkrais teacher. They have both been profoundly influenced by Ruth Zaporah’s and Andrew Morrish’s work. They met in 2006 at a solo improvisation workshop with Andrew Morrish. Since then they have been meeting intermittently to watch each practise their solo work. In 2009 they formed The Stranger than Fiction Collective with 5 other artists and co-curated a monthly improvisation platform in London with the same name, which ran until 2012. They are committed to the pursuit of pleasure both in their teaching and performing.
