a one-hour solo performance

An empty room. Sten Rudstrøm enters the stage. He doesn’t know what is about to happen. There’s no script, no preconceived thoughts or ideas.
Out of emptiness he crafts a landscape –
the intersection of imagination, life experience and the present, he morphs into strange characters, pictures, places and things.
A wild, unpredictable, unique journey through raw human nature …
Rudstrøm is a USA-born, Berlin-based performer and Action Theater™ Senior Teacher. He has worked for over 25 years with Ruth Zaporah, the developer of the improvisational performance training process Action Theater™. His performances have garnered wide respect and critical acclaim throughout the USA and Europe. Currently Rudstrøm’s focus is the body as the resource for creative expression, exploring the multitude of different sensory inputs as starting points for physical action.
