contemplate the possibility/contingency/impossibility/necessity of being unrelated
contemplate the possibility/contingency/impossibility/necessity of sounding with a multidute of voices

JAGNA ANDERSON lives and works as a multidisciplinary artist and art historian/curator in Berlin. Her work includes vocal performance art, choreography, space installation and performative interventions in the urban space. The sensoric human body, meeting the materialities and textures of the world, plays the major role in her artistic practice, which inquires into the dynamic interplay between structures and actions on different levels – from physical up to linguistic.
Besides her solo work Anderson embarks gladly on collaborative projects: She is the founder of p.u.r.e. – performative urban research ensemble (2016), a member of the vocal quintet Medulla and of the multidisciplinary art collective WAH (Weber – Anderson – Helschinger). Together with Dodi Helschinger she mantains impro.per.arts – a research and production platform for non-disciplinary improvisation.

DODI HELSCHINGER is a berlin based writer and performer. In writing as well as on stage her cross-genre approach challenges the borders between poetic space crafting and world-obsessed navel-gazing and therefore blends well-known ingredients of poetry, thriller, sci-fi and fairytale to discover new and edgy literary sounds, tastes and colours. In her stage work the performative voice – located at the interface between sound, language and movement – is her central medium to pass between all-telling silence and ever-evading noise. Whilst in writing she currently develops a taste for the brimming, her stage-and soundwork tends to be more minimalistic.
Dodi Helschinger is part of p.u.r.e. – performative urban research ensemble, of the experimental vocal quintet Medulla and of the multidisciplinary collective WAH (Weber – Anderson – Helschinger). Together with Jagna Anderson she maintains impro.per.arts – a research and production platform for interdisciplinary improvisation.
